Questions

Is it really free?
Yes. Weekly alerts, the dashboard and full bid details are free while we are in early access. If we add a paid plan later, early-access members will hear about it first, well before anything changes.
Where do the contracts come from?
Today: CanadaBuys and the websites and feeds of public buyers such as Saanich. We are adding BC Bid, Bonfire and bids&tenders next, which cover most municipalities, school districts and Island Health. See the Where we look page for the current list.
Do you bid for me?
No. We find and explain opportunities. You read the official documents and submit your bid directly to the buyer, the same way you do now.
How are summaries written?
Keyword rules sort every notice, then an AI model reads the ones that look relevant and writes a short summary and list of requirements. Summaries can miss things, so always check the official posting before you bid.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands: Greater Victoria, Cowichan Valley, Nanaimo and Oceanside, Port Alberni and the West Coast, the Comox Valley, and Campbell River and the North Island. Other regions of BC and the Prairies come later.
I am a one-person business. Is this for me?
Especially. Large firms have estimators watching portals all day. This gives a small crew the same view in a few minutes a week.
Do I need a BC Bid account?
Not to find opportunities through us. You may still need an account on the buyer's portal to download documents or submit a bid, and some of those portals are free.
How do I stop the emails?
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can pause alerts in your settings. We never sell or share your address.
