Choosing your trades and areas

You get bids that match at least one of your trades and are in one of your areas. Tick every trade you would actually bid on.

A bid matches you when both of these are true:

  • It lists at least one of your trades.
  • It is in one of your areas, or within your travel distance if you set a home base.

If you are getting too few bids, add nearby areas or related trades (for example, landscaping members often also want tree work and snow removal). If you are getting bids you would never do, untick that trade.

Vancouver Island is split into smaller areas than the rest of BC, because most island crews only work part of it.

To block work you never do, add words to Never send me bids that mention (for example "asbestos"). Bids from buyers or keywords you follow still come through.

You can also follow buyers and keywords to catch bids outside your trades and areas. The preview in Settings shows which open bids your choices would match right now.
